In addition, the bibliography has been enhanced; see the new bibliography help pages for details. The number of bibliography items has also increased, and now approaches 800. Large update, new images

This is a very large update. By permission of the Manuscript Department of the Kongelige Bibliotek, Copenhagen, most beasts now have at least one illustration. The two Copenhagen bestiaries ( Gl. kgl. S. 1633 4º and Gl. kgl. S. 3466 8º ) have full galleries of illustrations. In addition, almost all of the beasts have at least a basic description. The bibliography has also been updated, and corrections have been made in several areas of this site. Some of the pages have been streamlined, which should, I hope, make the site easier to use.
