Description
This manuscript contains two versions of the Reynard the Fox cycle.
Renart le Nouvel, written by Jacquemart Gielée (12th century) is on folio 2r-58v. Spaces were left for illustrations but none were completed. This is the Renart le Nouvel manuscript designated F.
Renart le bestourné, written by Rutebeuf (13th century) is on folio 101r-101v. This is the Renart le bestourné manuscript designated B by Edward Billings Ham.
The manuscript also contains several other fables.
