The Physiologus attributed to Theobaldus (here called Cybaldus) is on folio 69v-73v.

The Physiologus text is as usual, but beginning on folio 69v is presented as a commentary on the text: Cybaldus episcopus Physiologus de naturis animalium XII ... In principio huius auctoris sicut in aliorum sex sunt inquirenda. Que materia, que intencio, que utilitas, que [sic] auctor, quis titulus, cui parti philosophie supponatur. Materia huius auctoris est natura XII. animalium scilicet leonis serpentis aquile etc. Intencio huius auctoris, Materia huius auctoris est natura XII. animalium scilicet leonis serpentis aquile etc. Intencio huius auctoris ( Cybaldus bishop Physiologus on the nature of animals XII ... In the beginning of this author, as in the others, six things are to be investigated. What matter, what intent, what utility, what [sic] author, what title, to which part of philosophy is supposed.The material of this author is nature XII. of animals, namely, lions, snakes, eagles, etc. The intention of this author is … ).
