Reynard says he will go on pilgrimage to Rome, but needs some sturdy shoes. Here he takes the skin of the paws of Ysengrin the wolf and his wife Hersent to use as his footwear, much to the dismay of the wolf couple. Reynard also takes some skin from Bruin the bear to make a pouch.
