A copy of Aesop's Fables (an anonymous translation of Novus Aesopus by Nequam) is on folios 1r - 56v. The Bestiaire d'amour of Richard de Fournival is on folios 57r - 95v. Both are richly illustrated, probably by the same artist, with liberal use of gold. The are many ornate initials. |
