Description

This manuscript has several animal illustrations in the margins, including three of the unicorn and the maiden; in each of these the maiden holds a mirror in which her face can be seen, an unusual feature.

2 full-page miniatures, 1 miniature, 20 historiated initials, 8 illustrations in the margin, decorated initiales with border decoration. Made for Johannes de Marchello, abbot of the Premonstratensian abby of St. Jean at Amiens.
