Description

De Proprietatibus Rerum: a portion of the work of the Franciscan Bartholomaeus Anglicus, comprising the account of particular birds, fishes, stones, plants, and animals. Includes books 12, 13 (chapter 26), 14, 17 (chapter 3-end), 18 (chapter 2-106). Imperfect at the end. Without title, but a contemporary note says 'Iste libellus excerptus est de naturis rerum'. Begins 'Aquila uelud regina inter aues'. Initials flourished in red and blue.
