Description
This manuscript is known as the Nederrijns Moraalboek and the Moralium dogma philosophorum.
The Bestiaire d'amour (German translation, Low Rhine dialect) by Richard de Fournival is on folio 70r-113v (page 139-206). It is illustrated with 57 small full color images with some gold leaf backgrounds. Most of the images are faded and rubbed, and the parchment is dirty and darkened with age. The manuscript was damaged in a flood in 1946.
