Description
A French heraldic bestiary, produced in Normandy during the English occupation.
Some of the texts found in this manuscript were translated into Middle Scots and appear in the Deidis of Armorie (see British Library, Harley MS. 6149 for details), though this manuscript itself is not thought to be the source of the translation.
The heraldic bestiary is found in section 7 (ff. 87r-130v).
