The Y3 version of the Physiologus is on folio 116v-138v. There is a table of the animal chapters on folio 116v-117v.

The Bernese version of the text tradition (designated Y3). Contains 40 chapters, with the full version containing 49 chapters. Seven chapters (no. 28: Psycomora, no. 33: Mirmicoleon, no. 37: Hyena/Belua, no. 40: Cornicola, no. 44: Rana, no. 45: Salamandra, no. 48: Columbae) are missing; the Chapter Onager et Simia (no. 25) is divided into two chapters. In three chapters (no. 17: Ibis, no. 23: Sostoros lapis, no. 49: Saura Eliace) the title is missing. The texts of the Chapter to Vulpis (no. 18), Monoceras (no. 35), Castor (no. 36), as well as onagers and Simia (no. 25) are taken from version B.
