The <a href=\"\/etexts.htm\">digital         text library<\/a> contains three articles by         George Claridge Druce, who wrote several bestiary-related         articles in the early 20th century. I had thought         this Druce was the botanist George Claridge         Druce (1850-1932); he was actually the antiquarian         George Claridge Druce (1860-1948). I have corrected         the biography in each of the three Druce articles         now online. Mr. Butler also provided some additional         Druce bibliography, which is now online. Updates,         additions and corrections have been made to         the <a href=\"\/biblio.htm\">bibliography<\/a>, <a href=\"\/manuscript.htm\">manuscript<\/a> and other pages.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I would like to thank Lawrence Butler of England for pointing out an error and providing information to allow me to correct it.
