Description

A two part manuscript containing medical and herbal writings.

Part A: Page 1-249. Gregorii M. Regula pastoralis (more than 65 chapters). Includes a medical therapy that begins with bloodletting and ends with a plant register.

- (p. 254) Incipit liber fiscius medecinalis

- (p. 339) Incip. Interpretationes erbarum s. pimentorum (alphabetical)

Part B: Botanical and animal remedies. In the middle of this manuscript a different manuscript is inserted (p. 275-334), with all sections having the rubric Nomen herba etc., with an empty space for the illustration of the plant or animal. Only the illustration for the lion has been done.

- (p. 288) Finit Bodanicus. Incipit liber bestiarum< Nomen leonis qui alias bestias potit interficere (followed by various remedies from the animal kingdom).
